Ex-Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah says Black Stars coach Avram Grant will get the chance to stay longer in the country to monitor the local league if he takes advantage of latest scouting software to keep an eye on the players abroad.
Grant has been accused of spending too much time abroad monitoring players while players in the country's leagues have been ignored by the Israeli manager.
To solve this problem, Appiah says Grant must take advantage of the scouting software to ensure that he can monitor players abroad from Ghana before travelling abroad to monitor them.
“There are so many technologies coming up. You can sit there and watch the game he has played and decide whether this player worth it then talk to the player or his manager,” Appiah told Starr FM.
“In that aspect after watching him you put his name down so by the time you make your mind that you going to Europe then you know you have a player in mind.
“You going to watch them physically, talk to them, and speak to their managers to know the behavior of the player.
“So that actually can help you to monitor those out there and monitor those you are here.”
