Ghana Under-20 team Head coach Sellas Tetteh has expressed satisfaction with his side’s preparations for the Senegal 2015 Africa Youth Championship, which kicks off on March 8, next year.
The 24-man Black Satellites squad has been in camp since November 20 training under the eagle eyes of Coach Tetteh, with no injuries in camp.
“So far so good, the players are responding to training programmes as they should and there are no major injuries in camp. I must say everything is going as planned”, Coach Tetteh told SportsCrusader.com in an exclusive interview.
“From time to time we engage some teams in friendly matches to assess the team and that has been the order of the day,” he added.
The former Black Stars Assistant Coach explains that the technical team is planning of holding more training sessions with the players since the Ghana Premier League has still not commenced.
“We need to keep them together bearing in mind that the league has not started and they will need to keep their fitness high ahead of the competition which is barely three months away.”
