Ghana’s Black Stars B skipper Shafiu Mumuni won the top scorer award at the just ended West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Cup in Senegal.
Shafiu Mumuni netted four goals in the tournament to emerge as the top scorer in this year’s tournament.
Mumuni bagged his first goal in the WAFU competition when Ghana faced Burkina Faso in the quarter – final in a game which ended 1-1 before Ghana on on penalties.
He moved on to bagged precious hat-trick in the semi-final as Ghana beat Cote d’Ivoire 3-1 to reach a successive final after winning it in 2017.
Despite failing to get a goal in the final, the Ashantigold striker four goals in the competition won him the precious award.
