Black Stars head coach, James Kwesi Appiah and the entire technical team of all the National teams were dissolved by the Ghana Football Association on January 2, 2019, a move which has attracted mixed reactions from Ghanaians in the country and all over the world.

A statement on the GFA’s website said the decision affects both the men and women’s national teams and it effectively ends the reign of current Black Stars boss Kwesi Appiah whose contract expired in December 2019.

“The GFA extends its appreciation to all coaches and members of the respective national teams for their contributions to our national teams and Ghana football.

“We wish them all the best in their endeavours,” the statement from the GFA added.

After the announcement of this news on the GFA's website and social media handles, GhanaWeb gathered some of the views of Ghanaians about the dissolution and sack.
