Shanghai SIPG striker Asamoah Gyan is considering a loan switch possibly to one of Europe's top-flights before the window closes at the end of the month.

The Ghana captain has struggled for game time after battling injuries this season.

Gyan wants to look elsewhere he can be guaranteed more playing opportunities to improve his fitness for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations next year.

"We have spoken to the club about a loan move for Gyan and they have agreed," Gyan's local manager Samuel Anim Addo said.

“There are so many offers on the table but as we have always done we will look at the offers and check what best

suits Gyan and decide on what to do.

“Gyan is very focused on his career and has been training very hard, so we are looking at the options."
