Accra Great Olympics have become the subject of ridicule and mortification after their humiliating 4-0 defeat at the hands of the Accra Hearts of Oak.
The ‘Dade Boy’ drew the first verbal dagger on twitter, taunting their opponents with all kinds of names.
The unprovoked attacks from Olympics ahead of the game was carried onto mainstream media platforms by their PRO and some Kotoko fans who mocked players of Hearts as well as the quality of their Umbro jerseys.
But at the end of ninety minutes, Hearts were 4-0 winners, their biggest victory this season.
The derby which was dubbed #WhoOwnsTheCity ended with Hearts of Oak proving their mettle as not only Accra’s oldest club but also the city’s best club.
The result sparked outrage among fans of the club with one of their popular fans storming the pitch to abuse the players.
Olympics who have carved a reputation for their witty and comic tweets could only post a picture of a syringe.
