Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, owner and bankroller of Elmina Sharks has told the technical team of the club to wake up to their duties or risk losing their jobs if they fail to guide the club to the top of zone 2 of the GN Bank Division One League by the end of the first round.

Elmina Sharks opened the 2016 GN Bank Division One League with a 2-1 win over King Faisal Babies, but the founder of the team, who was at the stadium to watch his side was unhappy despite the win.

And he has threatened to end his relationship with the technical bench of the club should they fail to qualify to the premier league.

“I am apologizing to the supporters who came to see us play against King Faisal,” Paa Kwesi Nduom told Happy FM.

“The first half was a bit okay, but I was surprised with their performance in the second half. I don’t know if the players who played the second half were old men?

“Elmina Sharks are very unique in Ghana. The players get everything they need. We pay them their allowances and bonuses.

“The technical team should sit up, either than that I will not let the season end, before they pack their things to wherever they came from. When the first round ends, I want to see Elmina Sharks on top of our zone.”he stated.

Elmina Sharks placed second behind Ebusua Dwarfs last season in Zone 2 of the Division One League.
