Sky Blue inaugurated for Asuogyaman third division

Npakadan (E/R), Feb 9, GNA - Npakadan Sky Blue Football Club has been inaugurated to compete in the Asuogyaman District Third Division football league in the Eastern Region.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hoffman Ansah, Chairman of the Club, noted that the demise of Apeguso Arnold Warriors and Akosombo Akotex Football Clubs had rob the Akwamu area of their fair share of the nation's passion footfall hence the formation of the Club. He expressed the hope that the Club would bring back the old memories of the great teams.

Mr Ansah, who is also the Managing Director of the Asuogyaman Trading Company pledged to ensure the qualification of the Club to the Premier Division in the near future.

He donated two sets of jersey, six footballs, 36 pairs of hose and four football pumps valued at 25 million cedis to the Club. The Team Manager, Mr John Ashun, thanked Mr Ansah for the gesture and promised to put the items to good use to build a strong team. The 19 strong-management has Opanyin E K Asiedu as the Patron, Emmanuel Tawiah, Coach while George Agarkwa is the Captain
