The South African Police has dropped charges against Orlando Pirates attacker Bernard Morrison, who was arrested last week over car theft.
The 23-year-old appeared in court after he was accused of armed robbery by the police.
But the Ghanaian has been released after the charges were dropped.
The docket has been sent to the court for withdrawal.
Police spokesperson, Captain Mavela Masondo has confirmed that charges against the Ghanaian has been dropped.
“The complainant came to withdraw the case. He was arrested on Tuesday and taken to court on Wednesday," he told Siya crew.
The club have stayed quiet on the issue, but it is thought that Morrison – who hasn’t played a league game since November – is now back available for selection.
