Highly-rated youngster Nico Williams was adjudged Man of the Match on Sunday night after he played a key role in leading Spain to a 2-1 victory over England in the 2024 European Championship.
The Spain forward of Ghanaian descent started the final for his country and lasted the entire duration of the contest.
Playing on the flanks, Nico Williams threatened the English defense and caused all sorts of trouble.
In the finals played in Berlin, Nico Williams started in the attack for Spain and impressed with his displays.
The talented Athletic Club forward scored the opening goal of the game in the 47th minute after an assist from Yamal Lamine.
Later in the game, England drew level when Chelsea star Cole Palmer scored a screamer from outside the box after Jude Bellingham set him up in the 73rd minute.
While the game appeared to be heading for a draw, Mikel Oyarzabal won it for Spain in the 86th minute with a goal assisted by Marc Cucurella.
For his top showing in the finals, Nico Williams was named Man of the Match.
The 2-1 win over England has seen Spain crowned Champions of the 2024 European Championship.
