Head coach of Berekum Chelsea Ransford Cudjoe says his side's defeat to Aduana Stars in the GFA Normalization Committee Special Competition taste bitter.
Aduana Stars beat the Blues 1-0 courtesy Abdul Fatawu Rahman strike in matchday four of the competition.
Coach Ransford Cudjoe admitted that his tactical approach was to see 'The Fire Boys' fall having recorded a draw at home against AshantiGold prior to the game.
However, that did not bear fruit but lauds his players for a good performance.
"I applaud my players highly. In fact, this was not what we expected. Our preparation and plans towards this game were to accumulate all maximum three points," he said after the game.
"We needed to win this game. Aduana Stars dominated in the first half after which we took over, doing the necessary duties by creating a lot of chances but failed to utilize them".
"The defeat to Aduana Stars taste bitter but nothing much to do over it than return to the drawing board".
Berekum Chelsea are cuurently 7th on the league table of Group A with no point whiles Aduana Stars have been pushed to second place with seven points after matchday 4 of the Special Cup.
