Sportive Hold Lions

Kpando, Oct. 13 GNA - Tema Real Sportive on Wednesday held Kpando Heart of Lions to a goalless drawn game in their Premier Zone B League match at the Kpando Sports Stadium.

The two teams played an uncompromising game but failing to utilize the chances that came their way especially in the first half The second half commenced with both teams showing glimpses of carrying the day, with Lions thwarting most of the efforts of the visitors attempt at goal by trapping them in their strategic off-side moves.

The splended goal-keeping displayed by Sportive's Laud Quartey denied the home side from scoring with the Lion's Samuel Yeboah and Kwame Awuku being the worst offenders as they failed to beat the keeper. Lion's Jerry Akaminku and Sportive's Samuel Okran were booked by the referee for rough play in the 22nd and 24 minutes respectively. The uncompromising match saw both teams wasting a lot of scoring chances to the displeasure of their supporters till referee Joshua Mensah of Cape Coast brought the day's hostilities to a halt.
