Yaw Osafo-Maafo, the Minister Sports, has been relieved of his position in a cabinet reshuffle announced on Thursday. Osafo-Maafo was also responsible for Education and Youth.

The new minister responsible for sports is ex-Interior Minister, Papa Owusu Ankomah. He's also in charge of Education and Science
