Youth and Sports Minister, Isaac Kwame Asiamah and two other officials from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) are expected to meet FIFA over the recent challenges confronting the Ghana FA following the expose by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
Mr Isaac Kwame Asiamah is representing the government of Ghana, with Mr Isaac Addo General Secretary as well as Mr. Alex Asante Protocol Officer of the GFA.
FIFA is said to have refused to hold the meeting if officials from the GFA did not accompany the Sports Minister.
The Sports Minister will present the views of government on the immediate steps being employed towards the dissolution of the GFA, whilst Mr. Addo would also make a presentation on the position of the GFA. Last week, an Accra High Court granted government a 10-day injunction preventing FA officials from all activities.
Attorney General, Madam Gloria Akuffo says it would be irresponsible and an act of criminality should government fail to dissolve the GFA following the fallout from the Number 12 video.
