The Ministry of Youth and Sports has finally settled Black Princesses' outstanding bonuses, according to Joy Sports.
Each member of the playing body has been owed $6,000 for the three qualifying rounds of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, since January this year.
According to the reports, the Sports Ministry has settled the outstanding payments, albeit a reviewed amount of $4,500 each.
The Black Princesses are preparing to represent Ghana for the 7th straight time at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Columbia, beginning on August 31.
Ghana has been drawn alongside Japan, Austria and New Zealand in Group E, as the Princesses attempt to qualify from the group stages for the first time.
The playing body and the technical team have been preparing for the past months in Cape Coast and are expected to play several friendly games before they depart for the tournament.
