Starlets Arrive For English date

Members of the junior national team, the Black Starlets, have arrived in London for Tuesday’s international friendly against England’s Under-18 team.

The squad for the England game included Ransford Osei and Daniel Opare, both members of the team who last week trained with the senior team, the Black Stars after been handed their debut call ups.

England-based Reading player, Kelvin Bossman, would join the rest of the squad today in training.

Ghana’s plays the young Three Lions away on November 20 at Gillingham's Priestfield Stadium at the invitation of the English FA.

Both teams for Tuesday game played in the recent FIFA Under-17 World Cup hosted by South Korea.

Ghana managed a last four place whilst their host for the friendly made it to the round of eight at the same competition, their best ever placing in the youth tournament.

The game against the English would be the first for the Black Starlets since missing the chance to win bronze in the third place game at the World Cup two months ago.
