Black Starlets defender, Faisal Osman has had a successful surgery after suffering an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) a few months ago.
The talented center back was ruled out of the Black Starlets squad for the 2017 FIFA Under 17 World Cup in India in October.
The Kumasi Young Vipers player went under the knife in Italy a few days ago thanks to the benevolence of an agent based in Italy who wants be anonymous.
According to doctors, Faisal should be back on his feet in three months’ time.
His rehabilitation is well on course. The player is at the moment in Italy, in the house of Ghanaian international, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu.
Faisal Osman, who was a stalwart at the Black Starlets rear during Ghana’s campaign at the African Youth tournament (U-17 in Gabon) earlier this year will get his career back on track as he recuperates.
He told FootballMadeInGhana.com, he was happy that everything went according to plan adding that, he can’t wait to be back on the field.
“The operation went well and I thank Allah for seeing me through. What’s left now is the healing process. I am confident it will also be smooth. Hopefully, Ghanaians will see me back on the field soon”.
