Former skipper of Accra Hearts of Oak Amankwa Mireku has asked Ghanaians to stay home amid coronavirus crisis which has wrecked the world.

He said, Ghanaians must stick to the precautionary measures touted by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the government in the quest to get rid of the deadly disease.

In government bid to help solve the rapid growth of the disease in the country, the President, Nana Akuffo ordered for a partial lockdown in both Greater Accra and Ashanti region respectively a week ago.

However, the former defender has called on Ghanaians to comply with the directives by staying at home.

“We should make sure that we lock down as human being. Just stay at home and make sure that we do as such”

“We should also wash our hands with soap regularly and then follow instructions from expects. The use of hand sanitizers must not be excluded” he told GTV Sports.
