Ghanaian striker Abednego Tetteh has declared himself ready for a call-up into the senior national team, Black Stars.
The former Bechem United hit man joined Al Hilal Obeid on a two-year deal last month as a free agent ahead of the new season after rescinding his contract with Ethiopian side Jimma Abba Jifar.
Speaking in an interview with Kumasi-based ASHH FM, the 27-year-old goal poacher disclosed that he still dreams of a call-up to the Black stars by Coach Kwesi Appiah although he admits he will have to prove himself worthy through his performances at his new club.
The striker who earned his debut call-up to the team during Avram Grant's tenure as Coach insists he is not disappointed by the fact he couldn't get the opportunity to feature but rather very grateful because being invited to the squad alone is something that makes him very proud to this day.
Abednego is already in great form ahead of the start of the sudanese league, scoring two goals in two pre-season appearances for Al Hilal Obeid.
