Berekum Chelsea boosted their survival hopes with a home victory against Liberty Professionals on Saturday in the Premier League.

The former champions managed a 1-0 win as Bennet Ofori's goal gave Chelsea their fourth league victory at the Golden City Park this season.

The win also happened to their fourth of the season.

After a goalless first half in game that both sides spurned chances, it was the home side who picked all the spoils when Ofori scored on 57 minutes.

With 15 minutes to go, Chelsea could have doubled their lead but Nana Opoku with just the goal sight, saw his connection from a cross fly over the the crossbar.

The result, however, lifted them from the relegation zone though the bulk of the weekend's matches will come off on Sunday.
