Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila will finalize his season-long loan move to Asante Kotoko on Tuesday.
The Mamelodi Sundowns player has decided to rejoin his former club after he was left frustrated at the Chloorkop-based side.
Sumaila was not registered for the season as Sundowns were hoping to transfer the centre-back to a European club.
The failed move has restricted him to training without playing competitive matches.
“I am back to help Kotoko to defend the league title. I am back for serious business; to do my best for Kotoko in the Champions League,” Sumaila told the Kotoko Express.
“Apart from what I have told you. I have no other ambition. I’ve no time for jokes.”
