Come Sunday, a classic, exciting and an entertaining game will be sold at the Accra Sports Stadium, celebrated journalist Kwabena Yeboah has said.

The excitement around the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season will reach a crescendo on Sunday when the two most decorated club’s in the country’s football history face-off at the ‘nations Wembley’.

Hearts of Oak will host Asante Kotoko in the first leg of the post-Nyantakyi season and Kwabena Yeboah and a host other distinguished journalists are expecting nothing but a captivating game full of passion and verve.

The game has generated a lot of interest owing to the impressive performance of the two clubs.

Hearts have been on a resurgence since losing their opening two games, drawing one and winning two of their last three matches.

Kotoko meanwhile have won three and lost two of their first five games and an emphatic 2-0 win over Ebusua Dwarfs last Sunday has renewed confidence among the fans.

Kwabena Yeboah has registered his excitement with the level of play of the current season, mentioning Ashgold as the team that has impressed him most. On Sunday’s big game, the SWAG president observed that Hearts are currently the better of the two clubs and placed them slightly above Kotoko as the team with a better chance of winning the game.

He was however quick to add that matches between the two sides are normally not won by the team on form.

The submission by Kwabena Yeboah was iterated by Maurice Quansah of Graphic Sports and Ohene Brenya Bampoe of Happy FM.

They both identified Hearts as the favourites for the tie but recognized the ability of Kotoko to pull off a victory with the experienced Maxwell Konadu in the dugout.

Thomas Boakye Agyemang, a journalist and former Kotoko representative to Accra unsurprisingly talked up his team’s chances and assured the supporters of victory.

However, all four revered journalists agreed that patrons and fans will witness a terrific game on Sunday.
