The Ghana Swimming Association (GSA) will on Saturday, June 30, organize a medal presentation ceremony for members of the Tesano Dolphins Swimming Team, who participated in an International Swimming Clubs competition held in Arnsberg, Germany.
The ceremony will be held at the Tesano Sports Club, Accra, where members of the 14-member contingent who participated in the event held in May will be decorated with the medals they won in the competition.
A statement from the General Secretary of the GSA, William Kyei, copied to GNA Sports said the Tesano Dolphins, made up of four boys and 10 girls placed 15th in a competition, which attracted Clubs from 45 Clubs from across Europe.
It said the team grabbed a total of 20 medals and the ceremony will be used to outdoor individuals of the team who exhibited enough talents to win the medals at the event.
According to the statement, officials of the National Sports Authority, Executives of Ghana Swimming Association, Council Members of Tesano Sports Club, parents of swimmers, sponsors, prospective sponsors and swimming enthusiasts will be part of the ceremony.**
