Tanzania, according to him has been thrilled by the exquisite organization that continually drove Ghanaian teams to success and referred to some previous meetings involving the two countries as exciting spectacles.
Addressing the guests, Mr. Danquah underscored the enduring legacies that would come with hosting the biannual event as the drive that pushed Ghana to bid for the rights to host the rest of Africa in 2008 rather than the usual prestige nations usually attach to the hosting of the event.
He explained, 'the issues presented were far removed from what the other competing nations already had comparative advantages in 96 like their well laid out infrastructure.' The COO said his outfit's concentration, apart from supervising a successful tourney, was mainly on the effort at leveraging the event to contribute to Ghana and the continent's development.
