The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association has thrown out a protest by Tarkwa United against Wassaman FC.

Tarkwa filed a protest against their opponents for fielding two unqualified players and playing in an unregistered strip during their Zone II play-off match on July 30, 2011.

The DC deemed as insufficient, evidence provided by Tarkwa over the fielding of two alleged unqualified players while no merit was found in the case against Wassaman for the use of an unregistered strip.

Wassaman finished tops in Zone II of the promotion campaign for a place in the Premier League.
