Tetteh Oku favorite to land GFA scribe job

Footy-ghana.com understands that the Vice Chairman of the Premier League Board, Ashford Tetteh Oku is the hot favorite to become the new substantive General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association in January 2015.

According to our sources, Emmanuel Gyimah, who has served as the acting General secretary for the last three years, will leave the position by December 2014 and already, a number of persons have indicated an interest in succeeding Kofi Nsiah, who was the last substantive General Secretary.

Footy-ghana.com gathers that Tetteh Oku, who was for many years the Administrative Manager for Hearts of Oak, is highly regarded within the corridors of power at the GFA and he looks the likeliest of candidates to get the job.

Footy-ghana.com sources reveal that this could mean that the PLB Chairman, Welbeck Abra-Appiah, would have to look for someone else to groom to succeed him on the Board, since he also has a very high regard for Tetteh Oku as a potential successor to his position.
