Tetteh secures Arab Contractors move

Ghana youth midfielder Dennis Tetteh has joined Egyptian Premier League side Arab Contractors.

Tetteh, who turns 18 in March, signed a four-year deal with the Cairo-based club on Sunday from Ghana PL side Berekum Chelsea.

The attacking midfielder is blessed with a quick feet and has the ability to take on his opponents as well score and has been likened to former local hero Charles Taylor who previously played for Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.

The 2013/14 season was Tetteh’s breakthrough as he starred in the 2013 Copa Amsterdam tournament playing for the Berekum Chelsea youth team. He was quickly drafted into the senior team upon his return from Amsterdam and managed to score four goals in his debut season.

“I have signed for the first team of Arab Contractors in a four-year deal. It is a big privilege to be here to showcase myself and improve my game at such a big club,” Tetteh told supersport.com in an exclusive chat.

Tetteh is a product of lower tier side Soccer Intellectuals. He left the club for Berekum Chelsea in 2011 and nearly left the club on a free transfer to sign for Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko during the summer transfer window.
