Cameroon coach Clarence Seedorf believes the midfield battle will be key in Saturday’s clash with Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The Indomitable Lions proved too strong for Guinea-Bissau with a comfortable 2-0 win in their opening Group F game on Tuesday.

The defending champions could seal qualification to the knockout phase if they beat the Black Stars tomorrow at the Ismailia Stadium.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, the Dutch manager believes his team’s strengths in the middle of the park will be crucial.

“Ghana has quality and I know it is going to be a tough match but we are prepared. We will entertain compact defence and attack when we pick on Ghana. Pressing from the midfield is our key weapon”.
