The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku says with the backing of the God that he serves, there is no way that his administration will not change the fortunes of Ghana Football during his four-year mandate.

The new GFA administration led by Kurt E.S Okraku has a difficult task to restore sanity in the local game and repair its dented image following the revelations in the Anas expose which showcased systematic corruption in the Ghanaian game.

Kurt who campaigned and won on the them; Igniting Passion and Creating Wealth for All is aware of the enormous task ahead but remains optimistic the end will justify the means.

In an interview with Nathaniel Attoh on the Joy Sports Link this afternoon, Kurt assured Ghanaians that his administration will deliver like they promised.

"So long us we have been voted into office for the next four years, there is no way football will not change in Ghana and already the writings are on the wall so there is no way we won’t succeed. unless there is no God."

He also alleged that some people consulted others gods prior to the elections but he and his team were always looking up to God.

He added that he was optimistic that he was going to win the elections at all cost and didn't allow what his competitors were doing to bother him. "I was calm and we (I and my team) had been very prayerful and we believed that once there is an almighty God, whom we worshiped, victory was surely going to be ours."

"There are people we know that consulted in other gods but we had people who dedicated their time to pray for us and I told the people close to me that if there is a God that I serve, there is no way that the game changing team was going to lose the elections, "he added.
