Member of the Black Stars Management Committee, Mr. Ernest Thompson has offered a word of advice both to the President of the Ghana Football Association(GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi and the Minister of Youth and Sports(MOYS), Honourable Nii Lantey Vanderpuije on the ‘cold war’ between them, as it does not serve the common interest of the nation.
Recently, the pride of the nation, The Black Stars has been a ‘bone of contention’ between these two leaders, who have not found an amicable way of resolving issues pertaining to the management of the team.
He told Accra-based Radio Station, Happy Fm that; “I think both of them have to understand that, if they have any personal conflicts, they still have national duties to discharge and work in the best interest of the nation. They both occupy very sensitive positions in the country, at this stage, they both need to sit down and find a solution to recent happenings.
“They may disagree about the way to go about things, but each of them should be able to manage each other within the circumstances.
Reports gathered by Sportscrusader.com have revealed that there is a scheduled meeting between the MOYS and the GFA this morning and we would bring you up to speed with what transpired in that meeting.
