It appears the Black Stars have made a major breakthrough in their bid to win back the love of Ghanaians with their performance against South Africa on Thursday.
The team capped off an impressive display with a 2-0 victory over Bafana Bafana at the Cape Coast Stadium.
A long range effort from Thomas Partey and a solo goal from new boy Kudus Mohammed ensured Ghana begun their 2021 AFCON qualifying campaign on a perfect note.
Since the 2014 World Cup, the team has fallen out of favour with Ghanaians but their performance against South Africa seems to have put them on track to gaining the much-needed support and love of the citizenry.
After the game, some Ghanaians took to social media to praise them for the victory.

Ghana wins and that's all that matters. We will ask for the performances later but for now 3 points. On to Sao Tome.
