Accra Hearts of Oak livewire Thomas Abbey has revealed he has on the table a handful of offers from clubs both Africa and Europe, totalling up to six chasing his signature.

The Hearts of Oak skipper has been in a form of his career in the current campaign which has drawn attention to his play from several clubs making him a top priority on the transfer market.

Abbey, who is a current joint highest scorer in the Ghanaian top flight along with Bechem United’s Ahmed Toure, has a contract with the Phobians which ends next summer and is open to negotiations.

Speaking to Kumasi based FOX FM, Abbey confirmed offers from South Africa, Belgium, Germany, Turkey among other notable footballing countries across Europe have arrived requiring his services for the upcoming summer.

The former Windy Professionals midfielder will however be opened to negotiations with Accra Hearts of Oak as the club is poised to keep him.

The sensational form of the Phobian number 12 has seen him find the net on twelve occasions in the top flight this campaign which has urged his side closer to their first premier league title since 2008/2009 season as they sit third on the league log of the current campaign with 40 points, 4 points adrift of leaders WAFA with 6 matches to go.

Accra Hearts of Oak are understood to have offered their skipper an improved new deal, but Abbey, who is concerned about how lucrative is the deal as compared to those from Europe and South Africa, is yet to reach any agreement with the club.

“I am currently a Hearts of Oak player, but there are offers from six European clubs on the table, but I would move if Hearts is okay with the offers and would like to cash on me” said.Abbey.
