Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has opened up about his struggles with injury at Arsenal, emphasizing his resolve to overcome setbacks and continue fighting.

Partey, who joined Arsenal from Atletico Madrid, has faced persistent muscular issues, with his most recent injury sidelining him for nearly eight months after he was injured in October 2023.

Despite these challenges, the 30-year-old remains determined to push through and contribute to his team.

“It’s life. Things happen and sometimes they are things you cannot control. But I have to keep going and keep fighting,” Partey said.

“Every time I fall, I have to get up and fight back. That’s the mentality I have. I also think that any time I can help the team, that is what I have to do.”

Last season, Partey managed to feature in only 16 matches across all competitions due to his injuries. However, he made a positive impact in Arsenal's preseason, playing over 60 minutes in their recent draw against Bournemouth.
