Ghanaian midfielder, Thomas Partey, has come under criticism by fans following his performance in Arsenal's 1-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, May 12, 2024.
Mikel Arteta's side put up a subpar performance against a depleted United side but managed to snatch the three points.
Leandro Trossard's 20th-minute goal at the near post was all that mattered for Arsenal to continue their pursuit of the Premier League.
Although Partey had a passing accuracy of 93% and won all his ground duels, he was blamed by fans for Arsenal's failure to dominate the game.

Poor from Arsenal most of game. Saka, odegaard and Partey were absolutely shocking all game . Defenders too slow playing square balls out from back. Would have served them right if Utd scored at end. So negative!!!

Yes, bro. The SGF should be the “Thomas Partey” in the team. He should coordinate the attack and the defence. He should bring a sense of calmness to the whole team and dictate the pace. When he’s ‘injured’, the team suffers.

I give credit where credits due Manchester City to me will win the next two matches and Arsenal finish second and that means Arsenal have to buy a world class striker next season and a left back and a midfielder if Partey departs & to me they need a LW also.
