“Unto us a son was born, unto us a son is given, he shall be called Bet Ambassador, Osofo Oswald, the guy who saved Emelia Brobbey, saved Ghana music, the guy who won the presidential election for 2020”.

The above quote from a Twitter user with the name Asiedu Mends sums up the over 36, 000 tweets which have been posted in celebration of a man who correctly predicted the outcome of last night’s UEFA Champions League round of matches.

Leading the twitter trends in Ghana is Oswald who has assumed ‘messianic’ status after his prediction of the Wednesday’s round of Champions League matches came to pass.

Ghanaian social media space particularly Twitter has been inundated with posts of appellations and appreciations to the man who is the brain behind the thousands of cedis some Ghanaians won via betting on Tuesday.

While some are calling him the ‘Betting Jesus’, others have jokingly expressed that he has impacted more lives than the government has done since it assumed office.

Titles like ‘Bet mu Jesus’ Betting GOAT (Greatest of All Time), among others have been bestowed on Oswald who per his replies is reveling in his new position as the ‘god of betting’ in Ghana.

Following the unprecedented success on Wednesday, Oswald has established a telegram group for his odds and interestingly since it’s opening last night, over 17,000 people have joined the group.

Earlier today, screenshots of GHOne presenter Serwaa Amihere joining the group popped up but the TV personality has denied being a member of the group
