Mohammed Gargo slightly injured himself during today's training session but is not doubtful for Udinese's next match against AS Roma.

Derek Asamoah backed for future success
Kevin Wilson - manager of Northampton - is hoping for a bright future for Derek Asamoah after he scored his first league goal of the season against Brighton last Friday. The Cobblers boss is hoping Asamoah's first ever goal in professional football will be the first of many, in what looks to be a promising career. The 19-year-old's fine individual effort in the last minute secured The Cobblers first win of the season.

The youngster, who had spells at non-league clubs Hampton & Richmond and Slough Town before signing for The Cobblers, has made an immediate impact at Northampton and has quickly become a crowd favourite at Sixfields.

Wilson said: "Asamoah did brilliantly when he came on, he set one up and scored the second with a cool finish.

"Let's just hope that that was the first of many, he's a player whose different to the other players that we have."
