More importantly, the Mayor of New York City, Mr. Michael Bloomberg will be thre to Geace this noble tournament.

The mother of all tournaments in the New York City Metropolitan area is here again, the COPA NYC. The tournament that is well organized and sponsored by well known Companies in USA and patronage by the office of Mayor Michael Bloomberg, as well serving as a platform to spot known and unknown soccer players with talents from the “Big Apple” to play professionally and thereby becoming future soccer superstars.

As a result, the NYC - GHANA team is organizing a tryout to select talented 25 - Player roster from the Ghanaian Community in New York City to represent Ghana in this annual COPA-NYC tournament taken off in July. Well experienced Ghanaian coaches are also invited to come help insure victory for the country. The tryout is slated to commence on April 10, 2010 between 4:00pm and 7:00pm. The day for the tryout is Saturday @Yankees Stadium Soccer Field, in the Bronx NY. However, players should be aware that, no fee is charged for this tryout.
