Accra Hearts of Oak board chairman Togbe Afede XIV will host players of the giants over dinner at his residence tonight to encourage them after their impressive start to the season.

Togbe, the affluent majority shareholder of the Phobians, has been impressed with the performance of the side moving him to offer this gesture.

He will host the players at his plush Switchback Road residence to encourage them to do much better than they have done so far this season.

He was present on Sunday when they recorded their third win in the Ghana Premier League after thrashing Bechem United 3-1 in Accra to jump to the top of the league.

Hearts scored first in the 36th through Samuel Yeboah, when he connected IsaacMensah's cross which crawled into the next beating keeper Ernest Adu.

This was after Cosmos Dauda and Yeboah had missed two glorious chances, whilst Abdenego Tetteh of Bechem United also had his shot hit the cross bar to deny his side a goal.

Hearts held on to the lead till the close of first half and resumed the second half much stronger creating more scoring chances.

Hearts increased the tally through veteran Mustapha Essuman whose drive from the edge of the box after picking a pass from Yeboah, deflected on the body of Cosmos Dauda before entering the net in the 53rd minute.

Man-of-the-Match, Mensah was on hand to connect Yeboah's rebound deep in the Bechem United area to make it three for Hearts in the 67th minutes.

John Nyanmekye fetched a consolation for Bechem United in the 80th minute and made some attempts at reduce the tally further but failed.

Hearts have thus jumped to the top of the table with ten points and will travel to Tema to face Inter Allies in their next game.
