Head coach of Medeama SC, Tom Strand, believes his side is good enough to win all three domestic competitions after picking one of the four tickets for the MTN FA Cup Semis. The Mauves are currently in the quarter finals of the Elite Cup, seventh in the league and into the MTN FA cup semi finals.

Tom Strand tasked his charges to improve their finishing if they are to end the season on a brighter note. Speaking to the press after the comeback win over WAFA in the quarter final stages of the FA Cup, Tom said, “The three competitions will keep our boys in good shape. We want to maintain the good quality on the pitch. The technical team will make the right choices and with the help of the board we are going to get the right outcome for Medeama SC.

“Our target is to do our best (in all competitions). We want to annex all the trophies. We want to do our best and of course we want to win the ultimate.”

Medeama SC will be making a trip to Obuasi for the clash with New Edubiase in the league fresh from the 4-1 mauling of Heart of Lions. The league ambition of Tom Strand’s team is spear headed by Nathaniel Asamoah, whose 13 goals have been crucial to the change in fortunes of the club.
