Former Accra Hearts of oak defender now turned striker, Tony Yeboah alias Suhum Nsawam has returned to his base in Germany from Portugal after weeks of trials .The player has signed a six months deal with German 3rd. Bundesliga Club S.G. Hemer, F/C.
Yeboah who also played for Bofoakwa Tano before joining Hearts in the 90’s has played nine games for his new club with eight goals to his credit and currently the top scorer in S.G. Hemer F/C
The deal to a top Portuguese club fell on rocks because Yeboah's manager is reported to have rejected the offer from Portugal because he was unhappy with the transfer negotiations and also conditions of the contract after the Portuguese club .
The agent,Mr. Hans Schröder says he is considering offers from Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Russia to see which club Yeboah will move to after serving the six months contract.
Mr. Schröder did not rule out the probability of Yeboah coming back to Ghana to play for Kotoko ,Hearts or Ashantigold .
