Former Ghana striker Tony Yeboah has backed Andre Ayew to return to form following a difficult first season with West Ham.
Andre Ayew endured a difficult season at West Ham due injuries but returned strongly to bag in 6 goals in twelve appearances.
The 27-year-old joined West Ham on a club record fee -which was recently surpassed by Marco Arnautovic from Stoke City, after very good season with Swansea City.
Tony Yeboah, who played for Leeds in the English premier league in the nineties says he is hopeful the midfielder will come good this season.
"After your first season, everyone gets to know you more," he said. "You are no longer a surprise. Coaches know your strength, the opposing players read you better, they know what you do and what you don't so the second season tends to be more difficult," Yeboah told KweséESPN.
"But Andre has always proven he can deal with these things. He would be fired up to prove this season that he the first season was no fluke and how last season went was not exactly reflective of him."
