Tottenham and Everton on alert for Muntari

Tottenham Hotspur and Everton FC are said to be on alert regarding news that current Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari will not be extending his loan period at Sunderland due to the player being “too expensive”.

Whilst Muntari has perhaps seemed a little disinterested for the Black Cats he still has enough ability to perform in the Premier League and some sources suggest he would be happy to be reunited with former Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp at White Hart Lane.

Everton are also in the market to add to their squad and will either look to take the Ghana international on a seasons long loan or make an approach to Inter Milan for a permanent deal.

The final say will of course rest with Inter Milan who are expecting him back for pre season at the end of this season and since Rafa Benitez’s sacking late last year, the San Siro club may wish to have the 26 year old back amongst their ranks.
