Toulon U-20: Ghana is out!

Ghans' U-20 team failed to make it past the group stage of the International Under-21 Toulon Tournament in France. China's Olympic team bounced back from a goal down to overcome Ghana in their final Group B clash. China now top their group going into the Semis.

China's Serbian coach Ratomir Dujkovic had steered Ghana into last year's World Cup. So China were hoping to win on tactics as they faced Ghana in the final Group B Clash.

China threatened just four minutes into the game, but striker Jiang Ning's attempt could not be put into score as Ghana keeper saved his team.

In another four minutes, a defensive error from China gave Ghana the chance to make it 1-0.

Three minutes into the second half, Dujkovic sent Yu Hai on the pitch to strengthen their attacks. Yu Hai, who has been suffering from an injury, awarded his coach's trust. He won a free kick in one minute.

Captain Chen Tao scored and did not miss it to level the game.

In the 64th minute, Jiang Ning got a perfect pass from Yu Hai and calmly scored to make it 2-1 for China. This is also the third goal for striker Jiang Ning in this year's Toulon Cup.

China lead the group with 7 points to advance into the semifinals where they will first go up against France.

Ghana played 3 games drew the first againt the Netherlands and lost to Portugal and China
