After coaching English Premiership side Arsenal for almost 22 years, veteran manager for the North London side is set to exit the club at the end of the season.

Although he has a year left on his contract with the club, Arsene Wenger has decided to leave Arsenal following deliberations with the management of the team.

His tweet read;
"I am grateful for having had the privilege to serve the club for so many memorable years," said Wenger.

I managed the club with full commitment and integrity.

To all the Arsenal lovers, take care of the values of the club."

During his tenure at the club the French manager won 3 Premier League titles and 7 F.A Cups.
Appointed on 1st October 1996, he is the Premier League's current longest-serving manager and has taken charge of a record 823 games.

In the last two seasons however the performance of Arsene Wenger’s club dipped, resulting in a backlash from several fans across the globe.
