Accra, Dec. 11, GNA - Ghana's Trustees maintained their
impressive run at the ongoing 22nd Hockey Africa Cup of Club
Championship with a 3-1 win over Yobe Desert Rollers of Nigeria in
their day two clash on Friday at the National Hockey Stadium, Accra. The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) team
outplayed their Nigerian counterparts to cruise to their second
successive victory of the tournament which pits together the best
hockey clubs on the continent. The result gives Trustees the enviable record of being the only
club with a hundred percent record at the ongoing championship. In other matches, defending champions, Sharkia of Egypt defeated
Strathmore of Kenya 5-2, whilst Police Union of Egypt posited a 5-3
win over Niger Flickers from Nigeria.
