Tule wins second 4 Garrison Ball Kids tourney

It was a delightful weekend on the 4 Garrison Tennis Courts as club members took to the side of the tennis courts us ball balls as regular ball Kids display their skills in the Annual Ball Kids Tourney.

Tule Adongo beats Evans Tinding in a single set game 7-6(2) to win 2017, 4 Garrison ball kids tournament this weekend. After each player taking his serve to 6-6 tie break, 2016 Champion Evans Tinding lost his rhythem and Tule took advantage of it to win his second title having won his first title 2015.

Tule took an impressive 3-0 lead in the tie break before Evans’ coming back to break Tule twice, Tule repeated the doze Evans gave him to 5-2 lead and then took his serve to win 7-2 tie break.

Tule received a giant trophy, undisclosed cash prize donated by sponsor of the one-day tournament LT. Col Franklin Gyamerah Amoakoh, and Cell phone donated by Opana Phones.

In an interview with tennisgh.com Tule said “am very happy to win the tournament for the second time, it wasn’t easy at all but happy to have won it again”.

Ivan Wularu also won the the 14 and under defeating Thomas Mahama 6-3.

President of the Club Mr. Salifu Abebe said the annual tournament organized by the 4 Garriuson officers Mess Tennis Club, was to move the budding talents from the backstage to the main court to harness them for future competition.

Captain of 4 Garrison Tennis Club Jona Quartey also urged members to join the sponsorship drive to give hope to the youth.
