Akuse, (E/R), Nov. 8, GNA- The Management of Tullow Ghana Limited (TGL), an oil and gas company, at the weekend organized a fun game for its staff aimed at fostering unity and friendliness amongst staff. Gayheart Mensah, Communications Manager of TGL said the fun games signifies team building and ensures that they are prepared for the exploration of oil in the country.
Mensah said the programme was also an opportunity for the workers to socialize, work together and help them know themselves better in contributing to productivity. He said the forum would help the workers to exercise since a 'sound mind' requires some level of exercises, that the event would be an annual affair.
The staff were divided two teams; team blue and team white for all the disciplines including football, basketball, lawn tennis, tag of peace, egg and spoon, sack race, ludu, oware, eating competition and dancing competition.
Team Blue which emerged winners were presented with a trophy. Dai Jones, President and General Manager of Tullow Ghana Limited, said the company has achieved an outstanding success rate in terms of drilling and exploration of oil and gas in the country and hope to deliver better production service in the coming years.
