Lome, March 14, GNA - Ghana's Black Starlets coach, Fred Osam Duodo has said that the result of football can be unpredictable and can let one down hence his decision not to brag before games.

Apparently responding to Nigerian coach Ayidele Telle's comments that Ghana will fall against his side on Saturday, the Ghanaian veteran coach told GNA Sports that 93it's up to him to keep bragging but I will not be tempted by his comments to blaze the trail.

"I have enough experience to appreciate the fact that football can let you down regardless of how good you think you are. "Whether you brag or not, the field is always the final decider and what you say before the game won't be what decides the results.

Coach Duodo added that 93For me too many people talk for nothing because the end will always justify the means come what may". The Nigerian coach had earlier predicted the game as a goner for his side after his team struggled to manage a 2-1 win against Burkina Faso.

Coach Duodo said he is rather channeling his energy towards getting the team ready once more to roar for the maximum three points. The coach who often lays emphasis on getting all three points instead of the scoreline told the GNA Sports in Lome that 93our focus is to win every game regardless of the scoreline".

Both teams have qualified to the next stage of the competition and Saturday's meeting at the Kegue Stadium will not change their status. The duo are touted among the favourites for the biannual fiesta. Ghana is searching for a treble at the event regarded as the platform to spotting talents.

Coach Duodo won the last edition as the head coach with the Gambia as host nation.
