The Ministry of Youth and Sports has appointed a United States (U.S.) based Ghanaian non-profit organization, the International Youth Sports Organization (IYSO) to undertake promotional activities and also seek sponsorship within the U.S. and elsewhere in the Diaspora to support the preparation of the National Team, the Black Stars for this year’s World Cup in Brazil, a statement from the Ministry has announced.

The statement said, the IYSO will as part of it newly assigned responsibility, organize a fundraiser to support the national team’s expected visit to the US and also reach out to various companies, individuals and groups who have interest in Ghana.
