It took extra time to separate Ghana and Spain at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Uslan, but Spain ultimately remained triumphant to book a place in the finals.
In an evenly-contested game, Spain took the lead in the 67th minute through Murcia striker Daniel Aquino but Ghana was able to draw level ten minutes from the end of regulation time through Sadick Adams, only for Spain to prevail in extra time.
Spain's star playmaker Bojan Krkic scored the winning goal four minutes from the end of the second period of extra time, and then was sent off for two yellow card offences in the dying moments.
